Pathfinder Consulting Group, LLC was founded by Charles Levin in 1995, not with the gold-rush, get-rich-quick mentality of many web development firms, but with a solid bottom-line, business-first mission.

Charlie took 20 years of retail and consulting experience, as well as experience as an adjunct professor at Farleigh Dickinson University and an early digital editor at the Washington Post, to start PCG as a management consulting and strategic planning firm.

Web development grew out of our clients’ needs to provide better customer service, broaden their selling base, and improve cost efficiency. It quickly became clear that our strategic, customer-centered approach to building solutions could not only cut costs and provide better customer service, but produce significant online sales.

As for the rest of us, we probably have over 100 years of combined business, real-world experience. Our designers come from advertising and print production backgrounds and have created award-winning websites for clients.

Our engineers built their experience at AT&T, IBM, UPS, HP, Novell and Maersk. They have developed legacy database-to-web applications, real-time credit card online processing, and automatic order fulfillment systems, as well as innovative site maintenance tools and database-driven content.

Our marketing staff has backgrounds in retail, production, advertising, print-to-web, and traditional and new media.

The PCG philosophy is that client objectives come first; everything we do is based on meeting their business needs and creating profitable solutions.

  • Some of our early clients are still producing 50% to 100% year-over-year gains with sales from thousands to millions.
  • Not one of our clients has gone out of business or suffered the travails of the dot-com downturn.
  • Many clients are developing third and fourth generation e-business solutions, based on long-term goals with PCG.

And, despite recent economic down-turns, we’re still here, adding new business all the time. That alone should show that we must be doing something right!
